Gokums' Daily Top Five for 12.22.01 1. Raditz 2. Vegeta 3. Bardock 4. Garlic Jr. 5. Hrist Hello, everyone. I am Gokums, and this is your daily thoughts for today, 12.22.01. Okay, let me start off by saying to not open your Christmas presents until its Christmas. If you do, then you are very, very immature. Now that I got that off of my shoulders, let's start off with the Daily Picks. The number one position goes to Raditz today. His efforts (let's count those flashes... one, no two... three? I think it was four. Yeah, four. Not including the millions and millions of Out Of Character replies in another flash... more on that later.) And look... he finally learned how to put pictures in his flash! His fight with the Dragon Champion Vegeta shows why his argument (more on that OOC fight later) about roleplay really makes sense. However, is he able to keep this position throughout the whole week? Vegeta comes in at number two today after two respectable flashes. Vegeta has shown to us that even though he is the oldest fart in the federation (the first to enter), he can still keep up with the young ones. I think that the only reason why he's not at the top is because he helped Raditz up to that position. Anyway, I see Vegeta kicking some booty later on in the week. Clocking in at number three is Goku's father, Bardock. Two flashes (and a countless amount of OOC replies to one of them) has given him this spot. I mean, he's just here because no one else flashed much today. Anyway, I think that this is just going to be an overnight thing... he's not going to be ranked this high tomorrow. Garlic Jr. is at number four today. His two flashes depicting him and Bardock joining forces to create a stable-like group (and a couple of OOC replies... I'll talk about that later) is pretty good. He would've been ranked higher than this, but Bardock's flash where the OOC comments raged was just too funny to be overpowered. This guy is consistent though, as he averages about 1.5 flashes per day. He could be in contention for the Fighter of the Week title... The number five position goes to our new Tenkaichi Budokai Champion, Hrist. The only reason why she's here is because she's the only other person who's living that posted. Now that she's the champ... she is expected to do a billion flashes a day... I'm just kidding. A flash a day would be good enough for me to keep her on the rankings (but interrupting the OOC replies don't count. It's gonna push her down). Now... you're wondering why Freeza isn't on there. The reasons for this are: -He is not alive. He's dead. -It's a rewrite. Rewrites don't count. Oh, rewrites don't count? Then why should Hrist's prematch count? Don't ask me, I'm just a free speech guy who likes to speak my mind. Anyway, good luck to Freeza (and his opponent Piccolo) in the Annoyoichi Budokai tournament (which is scheduled to end tomorrow). Oh yeah, and another thing I forgot to mention. When was the last time you saw an instant message conversation on the board? If you haven't seen one raging with OOC comments, look at the DBZwz board. There's a flash entitled "Next Recruit (maybe)" made by Bardock. After you read the flash, look at the bottom. Thirteen replies, people. THIRTEEN! All of them are OOC comments. You want to know what I think about it? Every single one of them is just a waste of time. You shouldn't use OOC on the board... I mean, the DBZwz is one of the best non-wrestling e-feds in Cyberbrawls! To do crap like that is like doing it with your own mother. If you ask me, all of them should be stripped of their battle points. Ugh. Well, that's your Daily Thoughts for today, 12.22.01. Enjoy the holidays! Rumors! NEW RUMORS! Goku, Koola, Cell to retire? (12.21.01) Is it true? Will three of the greatest fighters in the DBZwz move out of the federation? It is highly rumored that it is going to happen, and Koola has hinted that the Annoyoichi Budokai match against Piccolo was going to be his last one... |

The Week in Review Hey everyone, this is Gokums. It is good to be back. However, there will no longer be a week in review. It will permanently be replaced with the Fighter of the Week. Of course, I am not ready to do it for this week. Therefore, there will be no Fighter of the Week for this week. I guarantee though, that next week we will have one. |

Thoughts From Yesterday For those of you who missed yesterday's thoughts, they are here for you to see. Gokums' Daily Top Five for 12.21.01 1. ??? 2. ??? 3. ??? 4. ??? 5. ??? Hello, everyone. I am Gokums, and this is your daily thoughts for today, 12.21.01. I apologize for not having any Daily Picks, because this is the day that I reopen the site. There is a lot of things that I still have to fix (like the roster). However, I still have my daily thoughts. Let's start off with the Tenkaichi Budokai, the living world's fighting tournament. We saw some exciting action from all of the fighters. Their brawling skills were shown, and even some of the roleplaying skills. However, in this tournament, only brawling counts, but it was a real nice treat to see some flashes out of the competitors. I was real ashamed of the people who no-showed the event though. Many of them knew that they were just going to sign up just to take up the spots. I mean, fighters like the almighty Vegeta didn't get a spot because "jobbers" took up the spots. That's why you, Shin, need to deactivate all of the inactive people RIGHT NOW!!! Ahem. Anyway, congratulations to the champion of that tournament, Hrist. Who knew that an unknown fighter would walk away with the championship? Mr. Satan was the favorite to win (I mean, if he won the last three Budokais... sheezus. Would you pick him to win too? That's what I thought!) The Annoyoichi Budokai, the Afterlife Tournament conducted by the Grand Kai, continues. Five of the best dead fighters met up to face each other in a competition. Among these fighters were the fearless Cell, the legend Goku, and the evil-turned good-back to evil-then good again Namek Piccolo. However, Cell didn't do a real good job in the rolling rewrite format against fellow villain Freeza. Freeza was able to walk away without a fight. I mean, what happened? Cell was one of the best fighters in the federation before he died... I guess when you die, everything else gets lost. I was also disappointed with Goku. He also was one of the best fighters in the federation. He could have been the top dog if he was able to stay alive and stay active. Both went down the drain, and everything else went downhill from there. However, he did give an effort. Hope he has a good retirement (see Rumors below). The final, Piccolo vs. Freeza, should be a good one. I'm looking forward to both of them kicking each other's butt around the arena to the pleasure of the Grand Kai. Well, that's your Daily Thoughts for today, 12.21.01. |
