Recent Events SECOND TENKAICHI BUDOKAI
Yes, folks, our second Tenkaichi Budokai tournament has just been completed. It was a very great battle between many of the superstars in the federation, but only one fighter could pull it off.
ROUND 1
There were a lot of matches where none of the fighters showed up. It would be a real nuisance for me to try and post all of the matches for that, so why don't I just skip it and go on to round 2.
ROUND 2
Uubu vs. Svafa(Hrist)
The student of the legend Goku faces off against the mysterious and very powerful Svafa (Hrist). These two fought until the end, and it ended up as a draw! Uubu and Svafa move on. (By the way, this Hrist/Svafa person comes up with the most unusual names!)
Gohan vs. Bardock
This match pits grandpa versus grandson in this clash between Saiyans. Although Gohan had a power advantage over Bardock, Bardock was able to hang on and keep this match a draw. Gohan and Bardock both move on.
Tien vs. Mr. Satan vs. Bibidi
Our three-eyed human faces off against the defending champion. Throw one of the greatest Majin wizards in, and you have a very interesting three-way match. Bibidi used his magic, Mr. Satan used his humor, but most importantly of all, Tien used his fighting skills. Tien defeats BOTH Mr. Satan and Bibidi, moving on to the next round. Looks like Satan's not defending his championship.
ROUND 3
Battle Royal
Svafa (Hrist) vs. Gohan vs. Uubu vs. Bardock vs. Tien
Wow, yet another five-way Battle Royal. This happened in the last Budokai that was held, and the great mighty warrior Piccolo was ousted. Now that he's in the Other World, we have a little variation. Bardock was the only one in the group who had experience in the Budokai. This experience didn't help much though, as he was the only one eliminated, letting the others move on.
SEMI-FINALS
Svafa (Hrist) vs. Tien
Our android friend Svafa goes up against Tien. However, she had a little problem with something, and Tien was able to take the advantage. With Shin's help though, the problem was cleared, and Tien was knocked out by Svafa. Svafa goes on to the finals!
Gohan vs. Uubu
Wow, this was a very good match. *NOT* Uubu, who was one of my favorites to win, didn't show up for the match. Gohan, who was expecting a challenge, was turned down. However, will he get a challenge from Hrist in the finals?
FINALS
Svafa (Hrist) vs. Gohan
Wow, the finals. And to think that Mr. Satan isn't in it... what a huge disappointment. Anyway, Svafa goes against Gohan. After punches and kicks were thrown, energy balls fired, and a near-shattered ring, the champion is...
HRIST!
Congratulations to our new champion.
What a Budokai. Almost everything was good about it... except for the fact that half of the field didn't even make it to the tournament. What a shame.
ANNOYOICHI BUDOKAI TOURNAMENT
Well, the first Afterlife World Martial Arts Tournament has begun. Five of the DBZwz's dead fighters go after each other in the tournament run by the Grand Kai.
FIRST ROUND
Freeza vs. Cell
Ouch. Cell, who was a person to be afraid of in this match, didn't bother to show up. Freeza walks away with such an easy win.
Piccolo vs. Koola
This match was a little better. At least we saw some action between the two fighters. Piccolo had the early advantage, but Koola stole it away. When it looked like Piccolo was going to lose the match, he breaks out a burst of energy, enough to send Koola out of the ring. Piccolo wins.
SEMI-FINALS
Freeza vs. Goku
Goku, who hasn't been seen for the longest time, comes back into action for his final fight. He got a bye because of the uneven number of fighters. It looked like the rust on Goku's body wasn't completely cleared off, as Freeza shoves Goku out of the ring.
FINALS
Freeza vs. Piccolo
This match will be a good one. The Namek goes up against the Changeling. Instead of the rolling rewrite format we saw throughout this Budokai, it will be changed into a full rewrite. Who's gonna win? We'll find out very soon... |
